Anna Maria Kmiecik, beloved wife of Vincent Kmiecik of Milton, Ontario, passed away peacefully at Trillium Hospital on April 13, 2025 after a long and hard-fought battle with Small-cell carcinoma, at the age of 67.

Anna was born on September 7, 1958, in Tychy, Poland. She later moved to Canada, settling in Milton, Ontario, where she built a warm and loving home with her family.

Anna was the cherished mother of Zanetta Wrobel (daughter) and her husband, as well as Kris Kmiecik (son). She was the proud grandmother of Kornell Wrobel, Karina Wrobel, and Kris’s children: Livia, Talia, and Jayden.

Family was the center of Anna’s world. She loved hosting family gatherings, celebrating birthdays, holidays, and every special occasion with enthusiasm and warmth. Her home was always open to her children and grandchildren, filled with the smells of delicious cooking, laughter, and love.

Anna loved nature, tending to her beautiful garden, and enjoying long walks around her neighbourhood. She had a bright, cheerful spirit and was known for her kind heart, her welcoming smile, and her unwavering strength. Her Polish heritage remained a proud and important part of her life, which she lovingly passed on to her family.

Anna touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who were blessed to know her.
